I have a set of RK's with WMP wraps that are shot, and have spent a couple of years gathering the correct hardware (to include a Krupa pedal!). I have a drum set for (almost) every decade for 100 years, and my 60's kit is WMP, so I'd rather not have two the same color side-by-side, since this one needs to be re-worked anyway. My 30's kit is blue/gold duco. The 40's kits I see (WW2 with wood lugs) that I want to acquire seem to be mostly blue/gold duco or WMP, so the chances are pretty good that my eventual 40's kit will be WMP. I have looked on many sites for a '56 Slingerland catalog to find what color choices were available on Radio Kings that year, so at least I will be period correct. Anyone have any suggestions? Ideally, I'd like to choose from an actual '56 Slingerland catalog.

Thanks in advance for any help!

Mewing: I think you could do a classy Black Diamond pearl. I'm fairly certain that was a 1956 color choice and it would certainly make your set stand out from the others.
