That is awesome. I would figure there would be all kinds of crazy overtones, but everyone I've heard sounded amazing. (All 3 lol) I guess it's similar, in ways, to the LM402. I can get so many flavors out of that drum. I have other snares, but I don't even bother anymore.
If I could find the 26 config, I'd definitely pay. These days a 15 is a fairly large FT. On the big kit, it's mounted, and sounds incredible.
I hope you get a lifetime of use. If I'm lucky enough to find one, I'll be coming at ya with lots of questions.
I'd more more than happy to answer any questions you may have. My kit is a 14x26" 14x24" 9x13" 10x14" 12x15" 16x16" 16x18" I've been looking for a 14x22" to add to the kit. when I first used the Stainless kit with my current band, The lead guitarist made the comment that they sound like wood drums just with more headroom.

Congratulations on one of the holy grail kits! How did you come into those drums?

I already had most of this kit, I found the particular 26" bass drum from Ken Coomers one of the drummers for Wilco. I had two 14x26" bass drums sold one to a bud of mine last summer. the 12x15" tom found it on ebay, Once again I've had 4 other 12x15" toms this was the best condition one. One of them was a ludalloy tom wish I would have kept it.

I paid 750.00 about five or six years ago for the same four drums in standard sizes 12"13"16"22" the floor tom is not visible in this pic, but I do have it
they are not pristine but nothing hideous, and would clean up very well.

They are the only Ludwig kit I own that I have not yet attempted to clean
mostly because of the stainless steel me thinks

What's do yalls think this drumset is worth?
More info is needed about sizes and condition, and are you asking inclusive of stands and cymbals or drums only? Concert tom sets (single headed) will bring less money than drums with top and bottom heads.

Found a true 15" stainless tom, just like Bonham's. ...AND put a set together, just last week.

IMHO, They are perfect and sure to increase in value, and soon!
