A close friend’s son contacted me and wanted me to come up with drum track for an original song. I went to my studio and used my EAD10 with just one snare trigger. Here’s what I came up with.

This is not a perfect track, just giving him something to get some feedback since I had no direction. Fun! This is my SC kit (20/10/12/14) with my Gretsch 4160 COB 14x5. Also using a Ming Pure fiberglass 14x6.5 side snare. No other mics were used other than the EAD10 and snare trigger. recorded using the Rev ‘n Share app which is why you have video.

Nice work Dan, love that you snug in some Phil Collins wibe there.
Drums are quite low in the mix but I’ve found that seems to be a glitch in the EAD/Rec’n’Share. Can’t get the drum volume high enough.

Thanks Halldor! Yes, my homage to “that fill”… I did have some headroom in the app to pump them up a bit. Still a great tool.
