Even though it is no longer in existence, a certain drum store in Indianapolis should get a very honorable mention on the list. Especially given its history of starting this forum and how many of us made a point to stop there every time we went through Indy.
Everytime I'm on Ebay nowadays, I see some high end, top dollar items from "the Harry Cangany collection". Judging by the amount of listings, he had quit a collection for certain. Is there a story behind the man?
I just wanted to mention the Third Floor Drum Bazaar in NYC as well. I haven't been there, but it looks like quite the place for a rummage.
I've been to eight, and work at one! 2112, Dale's, Fork's, Revival, Rupp's, 247drums, Boston Drum Center, and DCP. As well as the now-defunct Atlanta Pro Percussion, Drum Shop North Shore, and Gene and Buddy's in Charlotte.
Used to be Mid Atlantic Drum, but Keith was able to go back to his original name for all his endeavors under one umbrella. 2 doors down from the old spot with more square footage.

Great list! I've been to the front door of Explorers in KC, they were closed the day I was there. It's kinda hard to convince a guitar player & a bass player to go to a drum only shop on tour.
