I also tried a plain K 20 inch ride and the 20 inch K custom medium ride, both were nice

I played a show recently with this exact combo, plus a 21" K sweet ride. The A stuck out a bit. But I suspect the problem was that I had it on the wrong side.

Saw a guy play a properly raucus rock show the other day with:

15" K light hats
23" A sweet ride
19" (I think, or possibly 20") K dark thin crash

Supraphonic, too. Everything sounded amazing! The cymbals really worked. Dude knew his gear and how to play it.
