It all started Monday with a rehearsal putting new three songs in the set to be played the following Friday.

Wednesday - Wifey and me drove 450 miles from the Bay Area to Crater Lake National Park in Oregon for a two day trip that we had to cancel last year due to the fires on the west coast. We were going to ride around the rim of the lake on our tandem bicycle. My wife’s real busy with prepping for a webinar next week, so it was only me on my single bike that I decided to bring instead. Beautiful didn’t even come close to describing that park. And hard riding because of the elevation you start at (7100’).

Friday - To get back in time for my gig (I carry the PA as well), we had to leave the park at 4:30 am to get home by 12 pm. After driving the 450 miles home, that gave me enough time to load the van, shower, take a quick nap before heading out to set up, play, tear down and drive back home. In bed at 1 am, I couldn’t sleep because I was so tired…

Saturday - Another gig. Same routine. In bed at 2 am.

Today - Now it’s time to rest…
