a weird new Trixon Snare, double hoop?

Just saw one on Ebay...weird...and heavy...not even sure what its doing/purpose is ...has anyone heard one?

Each shell layer is pure Eastern Yellow Birch. The layers are laminated using high PSI steam and low glue volume for a melodic and rich sound.

Odd for odd sake wouldn’t be a bad tagline for Trixon ads but that looks to be a free floater with the wrong description


Edit. Just looked at Trixon’s website. It doesn’t seem that they have an english speaker on staff, but the pic from the bottom head doesn’t show any hardware in the shell so free floater adds up
