Can anybody date these 13" Hats? I think they came from a marching set of cymbals. They are Medium in weight at 975/1005. The logo is 1.25" and deeply impressed. From Bill Hartrick's time line the 1.25" was both 50s and 70s. I am not the best at spotting the hammering and lathing stuff, but my guess for these is 50s cause it looks like the hammering is on the bottom of the pie.

Thanks for any help.. Chris

ish,

I'm certain your hats are 1950s; Bill (Drumaholic) can probably tell you what year. Attached pics from a pair of '50s hats I used to own. The stamp is the same. In your underside hat pic I can see a faint bulge at the stamp position; mine has the same trait. Hope that helps.
