Heck of a deal here for a BIG jazz ride!

And a dry 17" crash.

Nice deal. I paid about that on the 22" and I thought that was a great Amazon deal.

Seems like every cymbal comes in with minor damage due to amazons lack of packing. I’ve sent a few back. Also some stuff looks like returned items

I’ve had better luck. Bought a 21” Mehmet Sultan ride for $138, and Mehmet dark origin 15” hihats for like $150. Both came in perfect shape. Still have the latter.

same here...everything I’ve ordered is undamaged only by the grace of god but nonetheless unscathed

I've had one incident; an inexcusable edge nick. They did give me a more-than-half discount, though, I was able to file it smooth, and the cymbal is holding as we speak (20" Mehmet Legend).

Anyone seen any good deals lately? I have $200 in credit and I need a decent set of hats and a ride for a new practice kit.

I haven't seen any deals in weeks! (and I search every couple of days; Mehmet, UFIP, Bosphorus etc..). I wonder if it's because of the lack of imported stuff coming in right now. Maybe they are holding prices on whatever is in stock right now. You'd figure that since people aren't really buying much, they would move some of this stuff with some deals. I guess with Amazon it doesn't work that way.

It bums me out whenever someone bumps this thread only to see a request for deals, not an actual deal.

It's like the eBay discount coupon thread on a golf board I frequent. "Any deals out there? :happy3:

I read that Amazon is prioritizing shipments of "essential" items, so I'm guessing the algorithm that controls these markdowns has been paused until further notice.

These Dream 14" Contact hats have been bouncing back and forth between $229 and $155. At $155 they are an excellent deal. I did a search and they seem to weigh in at 780 grams (+/- 20 grams) for the Top and somewhere around 1000 grams (within the same range) for the bottom. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B006OPPMBC/

Awesome deal on a Gretsch Renown 20, 10, 12, 14 in piano black.
These are listed as used, like new. Often it means a return or a found lost box or who knows. Often this "used" stuff from Amazon is really new. Sometimes a set will be missing a box and show up incomplete, but they take returns and pay for return shipping. So... if you're looking for a deal on a Gretsch renown, this may be it.
