How about a list of Bosphorus deals?

Traditional 15" medium thin crash for $94

Antique 19" paper thin crash for $193

Turk 14" dark (thin) hats for $212

Groove series 20" Wide Ride for $231
(these are some of the coolest, lowest pitched rides I've had/heard)

I see a few more, but they are listed by a new seller on Amazon "Black Pearl Store" and they have zero feedback/rating. I don't think I'd take a chance on that until they have some history.

43 minutes later and the hats are back p to 332. Amazon is nuts.

The 15 was 84 when I opened it so I bought it. Figured it might make a nice hi hat top.

Thanks, got it. Anyone know what heads come on this stock?
Coated Ambassador batter, Gretsch-stamped Remo Amb reso.

As an aside, I bought the same one when it was $249 last week. Had to send it back yesterday as the chrome was literally peeling off the 302 batter hoop. Not good for longevity. Otherwise, the drum tuned up great and the finish was well done. Just a heads up for anyone who might see mine relisted on the Amazon Warehouse page.

Ooooof. I’m curious if this is just build quality issue or an issue with your particular snare.

BUYER BEWARE: I just got off the phone with Amazon Customer Service. I purchased a Gretsch Renown set last week for $960, and the purchase was "out for delivery" today. I just received a box with FT legs and BD tom mount and tension rods. No drums whatsoever. The entire purchase is now considered "delivered." I went through 3 tiers of customer support, to no avail. Refund is my only option, or purchase a replacement at full MAP ($2049.) Even though it states on my purchase page that I'm "Eligible for Return, Refund or Replacement within 30 days of receipt", they will not honor a replacement set at my purchase price. I asked multiple times why it's stated that I'm eligible for a replacement, but they're clearly instructed not to directly answer. I was just told over and over again that "they can't offer a replacement at their end." Brick wall response. Sooo, back the hardware box goes, along with the matching snare I'd also purchased (snare arrived as promised, but I have no use for it without the set.)

Just wanted to give the group a warning about those insane Amazon drum set deals: they're often too good to be true. Save yourself the frustration. I know this has happened to others on here over the years (receiving one drum out of four, etc.), but everything seemed legit with this purchase - no reason to suspect anything was amiss. How naïve I was.

Sorry to hear about your experience. This is not the first report of such mishaps. I don't think Amazon fulfillment can handle items with multiple boxes, which is typical of drum sets. I would guess the Gretsch set comes in 2 boxes, 1 for hardware (delivered) and another for 3 nested drums.

Thanks. It was 3 boxes, but yeah. I think you're right: Amazon clearly cannot handle multiple boxes, which is not good for an online seller. This thread is rife with proof of that over the years. But my frustration isn't so much about them screwing up my original order, but more to their lack of honor regarding the "Replacement within 30 days of receipt" promise that was clearly posted on the page when I agreed to buy them; they have 2 more identical sets in stock, but won't budge on sending me the replacement drums. That is unforgivable to me.

Brother I had the exact same experience with a Pearl Masters Maple complete. I had a whole thread on this board about it. I even found the bass drum - another user here bought it, but amazon would not coordinate the delivery to me

Returned Bosphorus Cymbals GR20PT 20-Inch Groove Series Pang Thang Cymbal in "Like New" condition for $186. I normally don't list something until it is 1/3 off street price and this isn't quite there. I bought one myself in December for $183. Mine is 1665 grams and a nice ride and crash with the flattened edge giving it a unique character. These signature, or post signature, cymbals seem to have a much narrower weight variance and one can buy with a little more confidence:
