Well, it was a nice drum, then you ruined it with all that horrible engraving. I'm pretty sure no one will ever want to buy that drum after what you did.

Look, I feel bad for you, so I'm going to try to help. I'll give you $100 for the drum just to help you recoup some of your costs.

I've not seen your work before. At first I thought it was computerized but, I wondered how a process could work on the curve of the shell. Then I looked closer and began to see the tiny variations. Done by hand! That's pretty amazing. I don't know what kind of stencil or whatever you follow but, that looks like surgeon-level accuracy.

beauteous!....curious how long does it take you to do a given drum, and is it all hand work or machine?

This is all by hand, no machines involved! This engraving takes about 6 hours.
