This one is brass. I beat up everyone and in the end the candy store came through. I even ordered it yesterday and here it is. Free shipping.

However, now that I think about it, it was a factory box. I didn't get any candy. Imma gonna need to return this one for a Sweetwater model. Who wants factory when you can eat while you unpack?

I gotta go do some internetin'.

Ive stated it before, but I truly find the Pearl SensiTone line to be the work horse of the snare drum family. Outstanding design and craftsmanship meet fair price and super tone. Congrats on the addition Piggpenn, thats a bute! Looking forward to the others that you say are arriving... sounds like you've been busy!

I guess so. End of year deals and some financing deals ending that I enjoy taking part in. Finalizing my Pearl adventure. I have complete Ludwig, Yamaha and Pearl sets completed. Now what?

Partly the reason is the casino's have locked down their backline fulfillment and no longer will supply a snare drum or cymbals. They were using A Zildjians. How could you not approve of that? Well last week at our gig they were all removed. The sound guy said they have been getting broken and considering how expensive they are they are not going to replace them again. Since I hadn't brought anything since we'd not gotten notice to bring our own stuff I still used the house cymbals. Cracked but not broken they still performed well.

I get that. So now I get to take my own voices. I want to speak loudly and with authority. So I'm auditioning snares and cymbals for the upcoming casino events. Who knows, in a year they may require us to bring all our own gear.

Kinda like GAS.

Yeah, GAS causes or can cause NGD. I don't think it's a complete relief as the feeling continues to linger. The better questions should be, "What causes GAS?" I don't have a cure but it's fun to try, if you know what I mean?
