I've had these three Zelkovas for nearly 25 years. They are extraordinary snare drums.

This is the new steel snare I got. Sonor Steve Smith 5.5x14 Signature Snare Drum.
They don’t make them anymore and someone was selling one in mint condition in original box. 21 pounds of cast iron steel. :headbang:
I’m a huge Steve Smith fan. Huge.

OMG. That’s the most magnificent Canopus snare I’ve ever seen even though I know it’s a Sonor. 21 pounds! Wow.

Lol. The thread was about me selling the Canopus to fund buying the Sonor. Which I obviously am not going to do. So now I have both. Not quite a minimalist.
I’m selling some other stuff tho. I just posted some E drum stuff and tom orphans reverb I’m not using.
