No rumors, but you could start a wish list.

A couple things I'd like to see -
an off the shelf Ludwig kit with an 18" bass drum, maybe something like a slightly larger and upscale Breakbeats.
Also I'd like to see more 4 pc. kits from them instead of the mostly 3 pc. kits available now.
Of course you can order an extra tom for some, but it's still kind of a PITA instead of getting it that way from the start.

From Yamaha, I'd like to see more add on drums for the Tour Custom series.

That's about all, but it's good to get that off my chest. :p

Yes to the flat ride! In two different weights and sizes preferably. The Trad isn't crashable enough for me.

I want 15" floor toms from Yamaha.
From Ludwig, I want the Super Sensitive reissued.
From Paiste, I want a Masters flat ride.
From Remo, I want Ambassador Colortone heads.

I know/confirmed that Pearl is releasing their new stuff in March in honor of their 75th birthday. Hopefully they have some cool anniversary model drums as well.

Yes, lack of 15" floor toms and shallower bass drums has kept Yamaha out of contention for me for some time.

Nice Paiste suggestion as well!

I want bass drums to be 14” in depth. 18” depths have kept me away from any purchase as a result.
This right here. I have nearly bought three awesome kits, but stopped short of making the purchase after finding out the depth of the kick drums. The days of the "cannon kick" are over.

Yamaha Live Custom Hybrid Oak with a budget conscious wrap/simpler lacquer finish. The hand painted finish makes the current offerings cost prohibitive.
