So that's a serious bummer, I remember when he posted that clip. He was so excited about that kit. I think it was his 40th birthday present to himself.

I'm sorry to imagine he's got nothing but a bad taste in his mouth with those Way Kits. Again, Carter and the George Ways are a beautiful match.

That's too bad he's letting that go.

I hate to add that's obviously overpriced. But I wish he could figure out how to keep them and love them.

Agreed, this is more of a bummer than anything. Extraordinary kit.

I saw him that tour on that kit. I remember his bass drum was so wide open, I've never heard anyone go that far with it on an actual gig. Sorry he has to sell it, but if I could get 30k for one of my old kits I probably would sell it too... Not like he's lacking in great gear.

One question: Why doesn’t this giant sign/placard dampen the resonance of the drum — as a couple pieces of gaffer tape would?
