Anyone Done a Kit Using a Marching Bass Drum?

Find a concert bass drum, this way there will be no mounts for a marching harness

All the concert bass drums I've played actually have more holes for mounts that a marching drum

A "baby marcher" that had the harness hooks, 12x18 late 40's/early 50's Slingerland, dog tag badge, original hoops, was single tension, but Jack Lawton dropped in dual inserts and "modern" claws and t-rods, keeping the original lugs. Luscious mahogany. Play many gigs on this. Light as a feathah, very good tone.

Do marching bass drums have the same hoops as drum set bass drums? As in, are the compatible with using a pedal? This post has me tempted to by a Yamaha 8300 series…
