I’ve been very lucky to have played every weekend through out the pandemic. Only had three weeks off. Hope everyone else is playing or gets back to it soon.

Ya here it’s suppose to be the same 25/50% capacity but none of the places around here listen to it at all. No one wears mask or anything it’s like the pandemic just never happen. The band I play in is mainly country and classic rock. Boston, Bon Jovi etc so we stay very busy.

We play too. Had Friday and Saturday this week. Same here, people pretty much act like situation normal- you know the rest.

This is the new spot we played on Friday. It was a great acoustic spot, ate up the sound as you back away from the stage, loud and strong up front.

I had two gigs this past weekend--both of them were at what are predominantly restaurants (both also are known for great cocktails). I'm not sure of all of the rules for the restaurants, but I know these places are following them to continue operations (e.g., capacity limits, distance between tables, masks when not at table eating/drinking, etc.). I've been playing every Friday since June. Nearly every person I talk to at these gigs has had "it" (that thing we can't talk about here). WI got hit hardest in the fall, peaking in mid-November. So, either the people who have been the most mobile ended up getting "it," or those who got "it" are more likely to go out after.

I have one streaming gig this coming Sunday with a French band. Under a large tent with open sides. The stage is large enough so the band is socially distanced with a 50% capacity audience some 30 feet from the stage. Tickets sold, food and full bar. I'll be the one in the hazmat suit.

25% capacity here in NY, we just can't advertise gigs- under our Governor's exec order
it's supposed to be incidental to the venue's food service and folks must
order food with drinks, wear masks, and be distant.

I played at my usual home venue this weekend, here's one of our tunes from our set...

I've been playing pretty regularly in 2021. Mostly doing duo gigs with a singer/keyboardist. I live in an area where most people (including law enforcement and the health department) have openly stated that they won't be enforcing regulations. Good for gigging, but risky, of course. We build up a barricade creating distance between us and the crowd, and also bring fans which we point at the crowd. Always mask up during breaks, etc... Trying to be safe but at the same time gotta make that cheese. The bills don't pay themselves or go away if you don't pay them. 5 gigs in February, 4 or 5 in March (including a coupla plush corporate gigs). Not quite pre-Covid levels but absolutely zero complaints here.
