Yikes. Haven't heard that happening around here yet.

Still have our New Years Eve casino event on the schedule. Playing early, starting at 5 PM if anyone is close. Easy gig. Out the door by 8 PM. Home before the drunks inhabit the roadways.

Hasn’t happened here yet either, and likely won’t. Though I wish it would as I really don’t feel comfortable gigging crowded clubs right now. But I have several others that depend on me being there and ready to go so I haven’t cancelled on any yet. I’m triple jabbed so I’ve got that going for me and mine, but still, I’d rather wait a few out than risk it. Guess we will see what the week brings. But in my area, highly doubtful any doors will close.

New Year’s Eve gig should be fun in a smoky little seedy bar. That’s where the magic happens.

Last 2 gigs, Nashville and a club in Morehead Ky. Wasn’t able to get a crowd shot of Nashville, only the load in and set up an hour before we went on, but got one as we walked onto the stage between sets 1 and 2 in Ky.

It was alright we had fun. Small place lol but we made it work and had a fill in bass player. Better then staying home not making money lol. That’s great you guys had a good night.

Strange considering the current situation, but I still have a show this weekend...however I am waiting for a few things to shift and have it pushed to a later date. If anyone is in the area...

Played a private party Thursday. All of the guest have been vaccinated and are known to practice social distancing protocols. I am not normally gigging any longer, but this was a nice respite from consulting work and being holed up in self-imposed quarantine. I posted two videos in this thread:

I reconfigured my Patrice Room (read that as spare bedroom, I am so jealous of all you Drum Cave folks!) on Saturday morning. Then played a fun classic rock gig Saturday night (man did I suck after taking 8 days off for the Christmas holidays... maybe played a total of 30 minuets in that...

I’m glad I started this thread. Love seeing so many drummers out there gigging. Love seeing the different places and setups!!!!
