Just church gigs for the past two years. The band I play guitar in was set to have our first gig end of March 2020. You know the rest. Tough for an unestablished band to get gigs in a very competitive gig market.
Same bar, different kit?Night two let’s go.
Yep was suppose to play in Bettendorf but had to cancel do to our trailer axle so all our stuff stayed at the bar. They offered for us to play again Saturday seeing how we couldn’t make it to Bettendorf so i switched out kits. I live two block away from the bar we were at.Same bar, different kit?
Over the holidays I got connected with a local Irish band that had some members turnover. Tonight will be my first gig with them. We're playing a cider brewpub in "small" format, which means I'll bring my bodhran and some percussion toys, instead of drum set that we'll use on larger gigs. This will also be my first time actually gigging with the bodhran, which I've been messing around with for a number of years. Should be fun. I hope the cider is good.
