For those in Orange County CA, I will be at The Post at Rockwell's in Villa Park on Sat night from 9 - 12 with All Star Trio. Still unsure whether the Inde Wayfarers or OG OCDPs will get the call. I have been loving my DW Top Edge snare lately, but I always liked the way my brass snares sound in this room. Game-time decisions. No cover charge. Photos to follow.

When to NYC to play two shows at the Cutting Room this weekend. A really nice Ludwig house kit. They have DW's too. Great sound guy and the monitor mix was great. Always love going there.

Two!!!.... I f'd up the arena rock fill. One was a beat too long the other a beat short. If you like your snares on one and three you'd love it. It's cool, I blamed the bass player.

Likely for good. Location is an issue and owner is looking for a potential new place closer to, or within, the main town.

Have a different night coming up for Saturday with our jazz trio augmented with a horn player and vocalist playing ONLY Latin jazz and South American songs at a sea-side restaurant ..then on Sunday our very last gig at a great jazz room that is closing and where we have played for months....

Our first live performance in over a year and a half. Video shot from next to the bass amp with predictable results. We are looking for better out front. And I threw a stick three times during the set including here. There is a little language in the song. I didn't write it that way, but there it is.
