Guys,I've been using mine weekly at the jam. I get to play it,then, hear it out front.
It's plays great, punchy.
If you hit a rimshot, you take notice!
Articulate over entire head.
I put an Evans Powercenter on and a Evans hazy 300 plus Puresound Blasters.
The drum came alive!
The excessive buzz wasn't a problem with mine.
Good luck,keep working on it.
It's worth it!
A sleeper of a snare,in my eyes.

All my comments so far were with me playing the snare - without a band.

Now I have logged some time with it in a band setting. It's a Great snare. Sounds fat and musical. I'm Loving it now.

I've put pro-sound blasters on them and they sound better but still a bit of an after buzz.

Loved it so much - that I had to buy a second. Caught this on an Amazon deal with $101. Unbelievable.

She's a beauty. 14x6.5. Matte black.

I can't believe I caught it for a moment at 101. It then went back to 169.

Great looking, great sounding snare - after the heads are replaced.

My gigging resumes in 2 weeks, and that's the snare I'm using.

Great deal for 101!
Its a cool snare.
A little reminiscent of a Ludwig 3 ply to my ears.
