are the 3000 & Dimensions Series similar at all?

The Dimensions are my favourite b8 alloy cymbal Paiste has ever made . I had a full set of them back when they were current . Not exactly sure why I sold them because I really liked them . I have been buying a few lately to make amends .

Thank you everybody for your posts...

to Zenstat: apologies, I was a little confused...
What I meant to ask was: the bell (black label/red label) of the 2oo2 20" Ride in comparison to the 2oo2/Dimentions 20" Full Deep Ride! _Not 3000 ride as typed : )

A development sinse this post which I am gutted about... DHL here in Europe has lost the box w/tracking # containing a Full Deep Ride I purchased on eBay. I paid €100 for it due to a 1/2 inch crack coming out from the Paiste stamp above the serial number. Over here, this model is going for double that price and I'm fine with small a crack in that location because I own quite a few cymbals & it won't get used to the point the crack will get worse. Also this line is not exactly common here.

But the bummer is: DHL just want to throw a hundred euros at me and call it a day... I got the form twenty 20 minutes after my complaint! For me this was a good find, & excited to have a completely new Paiste style to bring into my collection. Who knows when another one of these comes up for sale, & twice the price. I found it in eBay Classifieds so I believe there is no insurance /and used PayPal and not a credit card. The box made it only as far as point of origin some days ago, maybe it still turns up. Oh well...
