You won't have any luck on a keystone set as far as I know. The color first appeared along with citrus mod in mid to late 1968 so I think Ludwig gave it a year or so before they started to wrap over citrus shells as they realized they were sitting on a dud color. I would guess mid 1970 they started doing this.

That is a beautiful set though just the way it is. Is it date stamped and does it have hoops for the bass drum? I think they should be silver sparkle. I would love to see this all fixed up.

Great find, I love my 12/13/16/22 Panther.
Dated April 10, 1970 B/O badge.
Keystones look sweet with the Black.
