Hi
I am trying to save a pattern or song on cassette on the linndrum lm2
I cant load the saved file back to the linndrum, the two lights wont turn off and validate, and they blink if sound too loud.
If you have or know someone who has one can you please send a aif or wav file from your computer of the saved cassette file that contains the rythm pattern?
I am not trying to steal your groove..
It would be great if i could load your file to my LM and see if it works.
Thanks much

That old technology is going to be finicky, very hit or miss.
When using vintage gear I set it up how I need, record it, then move on.

Yes that is good advice, I have a tendency to do things too fast, so I’m trying to work on that. Sadly the internal batteries are not doing their job either.

I used to do that on my Alesis HR16 and it’s super fussy about how it’s recorded. If I recall, I had to use top of the line tape and not record too hot or too quiet. It often took a dump on me even when I did it right.
