I know we have a thread mainly on the B-stock barton bags but wanted to give my impressions on a new A stock bag. I think this may be the "older" model but picked it up on sale at the Reverb store the other day. 6.5x14 blue and brown. Build quality looks top notch, nice hardware, padded handle and a detachable shoulder carry strap if you want to use it. Fits my PDP Ace snare just right, not too loose and not too tight. Actually purchased this for a special snare I hope to have in a few weeks. Several pictures to illustrate.

Excellent pics. I've had a full set of the B-Stock bags in Olive Drab for about a year now, and at their price point, they're the best deal out there. They look good and they protect your drums. I definitely recommend them.

Got the same bag and also the pink/tan one. I only have one 6.5x14 snare but I got the bags both in that size because it’s better that way. It can fit my 6.5x14 snare and my smaller ones. You can fit a smaller snare in a bigger bag but not the other way around

I really like their bags. Price and build are great. I like the padded handle and large zipper pulls. So far so good with them after I think around 20 gigs or so. Theres not much padding though similar to H&B Tuxedos. Great for a beater kit but my real blue shadows stay in the protechtor hard cases they have been in since 1993 but only come out for special occasions:)

Was thinking of them for my bop kit. Anyone know if the 18" bass drum bag will fit the kick that has the bump out on the bottom for the lift? It's about 2" and very similar in size to the tom mount on top. Just not sure how snug it is and wondering if I need the 20" instead.

I got the same snare bag about a year ago. Well built and works great at protecting the snares for my needs.
I then ordered the new series of bags in 13/16/24 for my WFL kit back in December in the Olive Drab color and they are awesome. The inner padding is super-soft and they are great quality once again. Plus, you can't beat that price.

I bought 3 Barton A-stock snare bags last year for Xmas, and they're great.

Another fan here. I’ve got both A and B stocks from them and love them. Perfect bags for me schlepping my own drums around town to club gigs. The drums look very cool too and the pricing is tempting but I’m really trying not to buy more drums. But if the drums are as well thought out as the bags …

I haven't actually tried it, but I take the lift off my 18" when putting it in the 18" Barton bag. I would guess it WOULDN'T fit, but haven't actually tried it.

I take the lift arm off but my PDP has a mount on the bottom for the arm similar in size to the tom mount. Wondering how snug the bags are and if there is some flexibility. I emailed them but haven't got a reply.

A new set (22/12/13/16/14x5) just arrived today as a birthday present from my sweetie. Very nice, I like them! My only other bags are H&B Galaxy that I've had for 7-8 years and are getting worn.

Agree. Great deal for the money and they're decent bags anyway, discounted or not.

Ordered the combo cymbal/stick bag set yesterday. I have a couple other brand cymbal bags already but my cymbal collection continues to grow plus this one I believe will be nicer than the ones I already have. Pics after it arrives. Currently on sale for $84. Many other items included in the 30% off sale mentioned above by @tdcrjeff

Cymbal bag arrived yesterday. Nice design and construction. Main compartment separators are removable as a unit. Divider in the hi-hat pocket is attached. Dividers are not padded (no need to be in my opinion) Stick bag attached via clip at top and velcro patch at bottom.

I have been a fan of these bags since they were introduced. Not the ULTIMATE protection but more than adequate if you take reasonable care and possibly the best deal out there when you factor price vs. protection.

I have set of the new design blue bags which are even a bit nicer yet than the original versions. I ordered one of the new design brown bags just this morning for a new (to me) snare drum coming my way this week. I'm not sure I'll ever feel the need to spring the extra $ for Ahead, Drumseeker, or PR bags again. Maybe for something super special but the Bartons seem to do the trick for most of my drum bag needs.

Got my new brown snare bag today. Very nice. Reminds me of the bag my first snare came in. That was a 1957 WFL in one of those sort of tweed brown bags with a flannel lining, but no padding. This new bag is a similar color (with dark brown reinforcements) and a furry white interior. Retro but better. Nifty.
