E9sus4: 0-2-X-2-3-2 (Bm7/E)

John McLaughlin uses it on "Arjen's Bag"/ "follow your heart"

The riff moves that shape up two positions (wh step) then back down.
Very nice.

Anybody try my Gm7 add6?
6 5 4 3 2 1 (string)
3 1 3 0 3 0 (fret)
I am super stoked on this one. It contains all intervals, and sounds cool doing it.
Also contains a cool easy generic 7th chord fingering that can be used alone.
6 5 4 3 2 1
3 x 3 x 3 x
Can also be moved, eg:
6 5 4 3 2 1
x 3 x 3 x 3,
5 x 5 x 5 x.
And speaking of maj7, check out Gmaj7:
6 5 4 3 2 1
10 x x 9 11 x

Glad to see that so many drummers understand harmony and chord voicings.

I am angered by all the three chord millionaire rock stars who don't know s*** about music, while jazz musicians who devoted years to learning their instruments are starving.

It's all about the Dumbing Down of America.

I'm kinda partial to E7 thing. It's only on more finger on the fretbord to make it not a minor. I liked it so much so I made a gawd awful 8 min version of just playing a fed back e7 chord. Been thinking of adding a droning bass rythim and some drums to this.

I was expecting to see that glass of beer shatter from the feedback resonance.
Hard to top a Les Paul playing an Am into a Marshall cranked to 11 :violent2:

For main stream prettiness, I like playing "Lyin Eyes" on an acoustic. "Thought by now ( G7 dominant at the 3rd fret then hit the G on the 1st string while holding the G th. May not be like the band played it, but solo guitar, it works. Ace
