I bought my rug from Lowes and screwed a 1”x1”x36” piece of wood to the front to keep my bass drum feet from sliding. I spent around $20 for the rug, wood, spray paint, washers, and screws.

Home Depot has $20 utility rugs. I think 8'x 6', and are soft and roll up easily.

As said in other posts, a 3'x5' low pile door mat is enough space to fit drum spurs and pedals. I roll it up and nest it in between the handles on my hardware bag so it doesn't result in extra schlepping as it only weighs a few pounds.

I have a couple 5'x8' (somewhere around that size) rugs from Walmart. I think they were around $20 when I got them.
