Beverley slotted tension rods exchangeable with standard size rods?

Well, the title says it all. :)
Are the diameter / threads different from regular ones? Being able to use regular drum keys would make them more interesting to me.

Thank you - I did mean the British company, yes. I think they were separate from Premier but used the same shells for a while.
Anyway, those are good news if you can use the standard 7/32" sized rods. :)

Beverley was a separate company but always farmed out the actual manufacturing of their drums. Beverley was purchased by Albert Della Porta who was also the owner of Premier. The Beverley drums did use the same shells as the other Premier stuff. The lugs while different, do use the insert held in place by the little stamped steel plates just like all other Premier lugs. Most of the details other than the lugs and using tripple flanged hoops rather than die cast were all Premier.

I have a 6500 set of Premiers which is what Premier sold the Beverley drums as in the US. In the mid to late 70's they switched over to conventional square head tension rods.
