Anyone see Billy Cobham with the Crosswinds project?-the current tour with Randy Brecker and Cobham’s Crosswinds project? Got my ticket to see him at Ardmore Music Hall-Sept 18. Can’t wait.

Yeah, I`ve seen the Crosswinds-Project in Austria/Europe last year. That was a great evening, amazing guys. For me Billy Cobham is a legend, he was the reason why I started playing drums in 1977. After the show I had the possibility to talk with him, that was an amazing experience. So I`m sure you will be very excited by Billy an his band. :)

To this day I am still in awe if Cobham and Mahavishnu. How a band could cake walk so many time signatures and changes is beyond me.

Billy's CTI work prior to Mahavishnu was informational too. And the band)Dreams is worth a Listen.

Me? No, I didn’t. Instead I spent two decades trying to figure out “The Crunge”.

Billy Cobham is not to be missed. Seen him several times over the years but Spectrum 40 at BB Kings in NYC was the last show I attended...fantastic!
