Anyone try these? Seem very similar to Keropes.

I've listened to these several times recently. I want to like them....but I don't. Too thin sounding to me without any "body". Might be fine for an acoustic piano trio in a restaurant...but I'm sure about anything louder? I could be wrong.

EDIT: Sorry all that I wrote above pertains to the 20th Anniversary models NOT the 1600 Series. I think I prefer the 1600 series as being a bit more substantial and louder. That said; neither one blows me away and I'm not in any hurry to pick up either the 1600 or the 20th Anniversary. At least not until I play them myself. Sorry for the confusion.

I have three of ‘em and I love the hell out of them. They are a little high-pitched but the tone is so clean, smooth and silky. Focused but not dry. With a lovely dark and deep wash. Extemely controllable.

To me, they’re kind of a mix between old Ks and As. They’re some of my favorite cymbals at the moment. Tony from cymbalsonly.con can get you any 1600 in any weight you want.

I’ve got
20” light ride w 6 rivets
22” light ride
22” medium ride
