What a way to kick it off lol
Have you noticed any ditinct differences in the manufacture through the years? I know there are ink stamp and laser engraved "Made in Turkey" and all mine have the same signature on them and weight in blue sharpie

Solid thread idea.

I'm convinced the newer offerings (w/ the stamp at 3 o'clock) are higher pitched than earlier models, at least in the Antique series, so no Amazon for me.

Really makes me wish I made a stronger play on that Antique 16" medium thin on eBay that JDA scored. ;

hey I could lose that for an 18" hefty Ride Not Crash; Like that Vezir-type in post#1!!
I'd even like to find an 18" Medium Ride (ping) from the "100% handmade Turkish Cymbal" (ink era...
I own some Great 19's but 18"s Have only one Thin Crash- while it's nice for an 18 it's not a ride..
plus I am watching my "consumption". So I'm probably dreaming.

(you mean the Laser stamp Furious?..)
That's the one. I have an 18" Samba crash at like 1400 grams w/ that stamp, but plays like a thin. Lovely cymbal, but the 17 & 18" medium thin Antiques are a better fit with my Antique/Traditional hats/rides.

13” Ferit/Turk series Light Hihats. These are early but I can’t remember exactly when I got them. I had an “endorsement” at the time. Discounted cymbals. Although they did put me on the website.

I remember when my midset was " Bosphorus? pffft"

When at a Pa Vintage Show 2002 I think (the time I took "the long way" and added about an hour) I spotted a Bosphorus ride all alone on a stand. It was a 20". and I turned it over and in Blue ink the stamp said "Original Ride." and I thought "dang that's Istanbul terminology" .. placed it back on the stand. The price was good (compared to the old Ks and Spizzichino's that were at (in my mind) the show's core (I was an Istanbul player) . And continued to ignore

I picked up some 14" hats, 16" crash and 20" ride recently with this logo. Stamped on the back with "Ride" or "Crash.,All play like medium thin. Wonderful sounding and blend perfectly with my Antiques. What era is this logo?
