Bringing back Ludwig black cortex

Found a very well kept larger rock sized Classic Maple kit for a very fair price and am seriously considering pulling the trigger. While it appears to be in great shape for its age, I am curious to see if anyone here has had any experience bringing the black cortex,"Rock Onyx", in the catalogs, back to life. Would appreciate any response if you've had a go at it before. Novus plastic polish maybe? Thanks...I'll hang up and listen.

Novus polish works great. What a miraculous polish it is!

I used Novus on m my black cortex kit. When I bought it it looked pretty rough. Novus did a great job. 3 then 2 then 1.

Ludwig Cortex is vertical grade Formica. It's thicker than traditional solid black pearl wrap, and it has more of a gloss than a shiny mirror finish.

Novus will clean it up nice and give it a bit more shine.
