So, I did a short bit on internet sleuthing. I'm not sure if this lines up, but if you have anything to add, I would love to hear it.

1967- Baldwin Pianos buys the Gretsch brand.

1971- (June-ish) John Rochon sells Camco (Oaklawn) to Kustom amplifiers in Chanute, Kansas. Reason?
Interesting note: prior to this, Creedence Clearwater Revival used Kustom Amps exclusively and Doug Clifford always played Camco.
Coincidence?
1972- Baldwin buys Kustom Amplifiers.
.
1973- Kustom sells off Camco to Beckman Musicial Instruments.

So, did Baldwin decide they didn't want two separate drum companies in the stable or was it becoming a stretch financially?
