they had a nice 18" version

that Danny's displaying.. (a local well known jazz drummer had a set I played)
English made but not a lot of English idiosyncrasy in them

Le budgette, but NICE budgette. Probably an 8-lug 22.

They appear to be preparing to enter our Craigslist drum photo contest with that second tom, but I'd say worth a look. Great knock-around kit.

JDA is correct.

These are first-gen. Cabria, as indicated by long lugs + natural interiors on kick hoops.

Made in UK. Late '90s. Poplar/eucalyptus shells. EXTREMELY thin, lightweight shells. Fairly easy to flex.

I had a set for a while, in Midnight Blue. They sounded really nice. Not super loud but warm, lively and open.

Made as a budget kit, but they sounded much better than that...similar in ways to 3-ply Luds.

Don't let anyone tell you they're XPK or APK. They're not. Common mistake.
