A friend of mine is thinning out his snare drum collection and wants to sell me his Canopus HS-1465-30th. There is one
Reverb for $2600 and the last price DCP had it for was $3000 and sold their last one at $2499......That's a lot of money.
If anyone has any more knowledge about this snare, that would be great. What would be a logical selling price?........I know, whatever a person is willing to pay.....

I picked my 14x6.5 up in February for £800, excellent condition too. 2011 drum. The last one I saw in the UK was £1000 second hand. I had wanted one for about ten years. The regular ones are £1900 over here. They're wonderful drums but a bit of a niche thing as many people don't seem to know about them. Given the possible small premium of this one being an anniversary drum and therefore every so slightly more desirable to a collector, you might be able to get a bit more for it, but given DCP does the regular ones new for $1600 I'd be surprised if you could get more than $1600-$1800 for it. Just my worth as a drum bore...
