We play Linus and Lucy and do quite well with it. It's always a crowd pleaser. I'd like to add skating, but the piano player keeps say "no mas".

I thought Colin Bailey was primarily known for Vince Guaraldi, guess there was a variety of players. I like this track, another drummer (Carl Burnette). I see Colin Bailey pass away from covid last year, never caught a mention.

I think the answer to that is "its complicated" !

Colin Bailey did play with Vince Guaraldi for some time, but the Discogs entry for the Charlie Brown Christmas soundtrack album lists him on only one track, Greensleeves, which I don't remember being in the TV show. Jerry Granelli is listed on the rest of the album.

But I do seem to remember it being a bit more complicated than that, I think I read or heard somewhere that the soundtrack album was actually re-recorded versions of the tunes from the TV show, and that Colin Bailey may have been on the actual ones from the show. I can't find a reference to it from a quick Google, so may be mis-remembering that, but I do think there was some confusion about who played on what, even among the drummers involved. Add to that, Mike Clark also played with Guaraldi for some time, although I think that was a bit later - he played on a Thanksgiving Charlie Brown special in 1973.

And the Wikipedia article on the album gives more detail, but it seems it is still a bit uncertain who played on what.

Oh, and by the way, if you search for Colin Bailey on this forum, you will find lots of mentions of him, including this thread on his passing :
