We are all chasing Roy Haynes and CW is another example of playing well into our later years. Covered Hand of Fate, Time Waits for NoOne and Stray Cat Blues this past weekend. The man is an inspiration.

I see you clarified that for Vistalite Black.

Just so VB can keep up, Frank isn't referring to the television network here. I'm pretty sure he means Charlie (Watts).

One of my top five drummers. Happy birthday!

By the way, if anyone interested, I know a guy in LA that is selling a 22/16/13 RB kit in maple finish for $2600 in excellent condition. The kit is not on ebay or Reverb.

His birthday was a couple of weeks ago (June 2nd) but I firmly believe we should celebrate Charlie every day! I do!

Charlie's beloved RB maple kit has a 12" tom, but that sounds like a nice kit. I have a SSB 22/16/13 in maple.

Maybe this guy’s kit is also 22/16/12, I might have been mistaken, I can double check but I remember he said 22/16/13. Your kit must be real nice too!

I don't think you're mistaken, it's probably 22/16/13 - that's a "Name Band" kit and a 13" is more common than a 12" tom.

Here's my early 70s SSB kit. Kelly SHU system in the bass drum...
