On their website it's listing under tom stands instead of snare stands. I actually tried one, but it didn't go low enough for my set up.

Hmm. I didn't look at it for the simple reason I had their snare stand, tried that, and it worked to my satisfaction. It was stable enough, and the snare stand had plenty of headroom for height in both directions.

I agree. It works well. Pic of my Summit kit using the Crosstown snare stand for the stand.

Yes. I’ve used it mainly with a 12” x 10” and it has worked perfectly.
They look way more stable than I would ever have expected. I checked the hi-hat out, and I should not have worried about the lack of spring adjustments. They "might" have an interesting aesthetic, but since I don't have to look at them .... I don't need more stands, but ....

Steve Jordan is using one for his 13” rack tom on tour with the Stones. I’d say that’s pretty legit.

thanks for that. Tracking down samples of Jordan's playing with the Stones has been on my to do list. I'd forgotten.

I am SO not regretting my purchase!
When I bought light two years ago, it was down to Yamaha and Tama. I went Tama because of the adjustable spring tention on the hi-hat. And there were also lots of comments on the Yamaha distinctive aesthetic. Not being able to put hands on, I wasn't sure I could dig that. The Tama looked like the old Ludwig stuff which I still remember. Alas, the Classic hi-hat failed in two-years under very light playing. After checking out the Crosstown hi-hat, I should not have balked at the lack of spring adjustment. Only disappointment is the clutch. It is threaded the entire length with no smoothed out section where the cymbal sits. It's not a big deal; a couple of wraps of elelectrical tape will fix that. Felts are a little stiffer than I'd like. Otherwise, it's just about perfect.

The hi hat stand is my least favorite. I sold mine but love the other stands.

Really? What didn't you like about it? Other than the clutch being threaded from top to bottom and the angle on the footboard being just a smidge lower than I like, I thought it was just about perfect.

I wasn't familiar with this hardware until this thread. These remind me a little of the stuff Axis was making. I'm using an Axis Vortex (I think?) snare stand for a 12" tom and I love it. But I need to find something for a 15" tom. Maybe this will do.

I should think so. If it doesn't there are other lightweight stands that would.

Playing a very tight space tonight so I’m ditching my right side crash and going with an 18 crash/ride on a Crosstown cymbal stand that will also be holding a 14x10 as a “floor” tom. I’ve got an old Yamaha three hole receiver going into the Crosstown base and holding the tom arm aa well as the upper portion of the cymbal stand.

Did a second gig with the Crosstown stuff, a big terrace in front of a Harley bar, and I am just as impressed. Not only does the snare stand work well stability-wise for my tom it also doesn't choke it.
