Hello All.
My dad passed away and has left me with his drum sets. Unfortunately I don’t know much about drums. Before he passed away he tried telling me about his prized possession drum set and the cymbals it came with. He specifically said one cymbal was better than the rest and I’m not sure how to determine that. I’m attaching some pictures of all the cymbals in hopes that someone can help me.

They're "all good" top line "Avedis Zildjian" cymbals.
Others will give some specifics but they're all equally Good..top quality

the diameter- measured across the bottom- and weighed (quick trip to local Post Office will weigh them in Pounds and ounces jot it down can convert online to all ounces and then to grams- both are info for future prospective buyer) Sorry For your loss

Yes get the diameters-- and post the list---later you'll get the weights. We can Yes give you ballpark figures on them all.
Start measuring (across the bottom) and make up the List; we'll be here..
they're the standard Cymbal for the Professional drummer Made In the USA for many years. (still made)
Compile the List and Report back : )

I know nothing about vintage Zildjian cymbals, but JDA has you on the right path... just a little more info and the guys here can have you up to speed on them.

I too just wanted to say that I am sorry for your loss.

Grayless,

jOe's right.
So far, the cymbals look like good pieces, but we need more info.
Condition, weight, diameter....these all factor into the price.
....btw, are there any drums with these cymbals?
My condolences on your loss, as well.

Nice looking drums.
Small Keystone badge, white interior, reinforced shells.
Looks like 22/13/16/14x5 sizes.
That would be a "Classic" setup (might've been called "Super Classic" at the time).
If all the badges have serial numbers on them, they would date those drums to late 1963 at the oldest (might be a date printed inside the shells, too).

I have found out a little more and this is an all original 1964 Ludwig set. Everything to the set is original including the cases the drums came in. I’m learning so much.

You can Edit this post's title (to include "Cymbal Help- Tampa Fl area" )
or not..
the drum will attract more attention than the cymbals but Like I said if a member is in your area...He (she even) may be interested
