I have been using Camber t tops for years and really like them however they are fragile. Anyway I decided to try cymbal crowns and find when pinched together at the top they are still too big to fit the center hole of any of my cymbals. These are all american K's, Paiste signatures and also a Sabian. Is this a design flaw any of you have experienced and what is the remedy??

There was a thread that mentioned this about a month ago. Yes, they are too big for many cymbals, although they seemed to work OK for some people here. I had to file the "bulbs" of all of mine WAY down so that they're easier to pinch together and my cymbals now fit right over them. I wasn't happy about having to modify them. Seems like they should work correctly when you're paying good money for them. My 2c.
