Either smoke and mirrors, or you need to give us the secret to your transformation..... Please.

Fantastic! What did you use?

I recently de-yellowed a Radio King using a 4 step headlamp cleaner from Turtle Wax that took off about 60% of the yellow. It worked well, but it still doesn't look as clear as yours - great job!

Adding to the other replies...why don’t you share how you went about doing this? I’m sure some people would find it helpful.

Usually not involved like this but here goes.

But it’s fine for him to ask for help.

Hate that ‘it’s a secret I’m not sharing’ mentality. I used to restore vintage pinball machines and there were a few people on that forum like that. I’m here to help, learn/share and enjoy drums.

Maybe he just hasn’t seen replies asking how it was done, or just doesn’t want to share...and that’s ok to.

How to replace a fuel pump is easily found in a service manual or a million places online. It's not a "secret of the trade". People pay mechanics because they don't want to do the work themselves.

FYI, the fuel pump analogy was very weak. There's lots of information online on how to reduce yellowing on wraps, or is this thread just an advert by proxy?

I actually prefer the yellowing. Imo, the drum earned that finish. To each their own.
