The Delaware Drum Show returns in one month, thanks to Joe Mekler (Joeyboom), and is set for February 26 in New Castle, Delaware.

Drumforum will be present with a booth (which I’ll share with Summit Drums). There will also be a special tribute to our friend Mike Layton at our booth. Stop by and hang out! Who’s going to be there?

Jeremy

EDIT: DFO meetup and picture at 1:30pm at the DFO booth!

I would love to fly in from Cali just to thank my old drum teacher in person who regularly attends

I'm going to quote the title of an old Jeff Beck tune...

"Definitely Maybe".

Add Genr to the list. He's on Long Island and has been known to meet me at various shops over the years.

My bride pointed out that we have a family party to attend on Saturday, but I might just jump in the car and head east after the party.

I’ll be there, even if I wasn’t good enough to make the list above.
Hey, didn’t mean to leave you out! I just don’t personally know everyone in the region. Looking forward to meeting you!

I'm hoping but have to leave by 11:30 for a 1 PM thing back in Philly.....sorry to miss the workshops.

At the 2020 show (4 weeks pre-Covid...) I found a 14x14 1963 Ludwig in BDP, 6 months after I had just bought my last kit from Maxwells -- a '66 Ludwig BDP with 12-20-16 + matching jazz fest. You guys know what it's like to find a14x14! So I have a soft spot for the DE. show. And always nice to see the regulars there. So if there is a DFO photo.....can we make it on the early side?

Ha! Mine too. My dad was the guitar player in the Honeycombs.

I have a gig (the only excuse one can legitimately use if missing a drum show). I will be there in spirit, however. Last year’s show was fantastic.
