16-8-10-12 & 12" snare. Interesting sizes and they kind of look cool, but is it me - or are the bass hoops really wide?

Klick on the link and scroll down to the video - the hoops are indeed a good bit oversized on the blue kit.

bass drums rode high like that I can't take seriously (sorry.
Put it on the floor. wait is it a 14"? no a 16". A 16" can go on the floor

Bass drum angle aside, it looks like a fun kit to play. I like the sizes for the intended purpose of this kit.
However for the same reason I'm not interested in Mapex kits, the Dixon name does nothing for me.
Much in the same way that the Turkey Hill brand isn't appealing to me. My mind conjurs up images of a bunch of dirty birds being mixed with my Neoplitan ice cream.
YMMV

I agree to all of the above. Also they don't know how to advertise the sizes or do they? I thought DEPTH X HEAD SIZE was the norm. I got confused. LOL

I don't know what's so wrong with an 18/12/14 kit.
I applaud Dixon for trying to legitimize themselves, but not with that kit.
In 10 years it will probably be forgotten memory.
