And along those lines does anyone make them custom to height and requested finish to match an existing vintage kit? Thx

DW made a few a few years ago. Not sure if they still do or not. They were adjustable in height. I think they only made three finishes. I remember Black, and WMP. Of course they were darn expensive.

Yeah, their website, to put it politely, leaves a lot to be desired. They show a canister throne in the photo of their WMP Buddy Rich kit, but their site has absolutely no info about that kit or any of its components. (And not that much info about any of their other drums, either.)

I think a 16 X 17 should do it!

I tried the 10x12 throne, but my knees keep hitting my ears. Any suggestions?

I just placed a seat top on a shell for a GAG and everyone believes what they see LOL
