Hey Guys ; Sad day comming up , I am selling my cabin in Northern Wisconsin . I was self employed my adult life I am 67 now it is getting harder to maintane 2 houses . I built this cabin on my weekends and hollidays , I have a buyer who is ready to move in now and I am dragging my feet I know in my hart it is time age is catching up 67 years old some health issues . Now I am drumming again after 25 years putting them away . The drums are helping me cope with my Sadness . I know loosing a loved one is worse as we age we must deal with death in freinds and family , The drums have been helping me move on .

I'm sorry to hear you're dealing with some tough times and very pleased to hear you're drumming again. I do believe there is becoming more and more research about the positive physical and mental effects of drumming. Keep it up and keep pushing on. I'll be rooting for ya!

Beautiful cabin, too. Pretty awesome accomplishment!

Many of us here are coming to the age where we must make tough decisions.

Aging is not easy, but you're certainly not alone!

That's a nice cabin. Do you have to sell? I know it's hard to maintain two houses.

Well take heart that someone has found your hard work valuable enough to buy it...not everyone can say that. All the best...I'm 60 and taking up drums again for the first time in years, too. Being able to create musical moments always helps.

A sad day, for sure...My bother just sold his cabin to mixed emotions..He is actually is relieved now that it's gone..he thought it would be harder but says he doesn't miss the drive or the stress...you are a fortunate man....many of us have never owned a cabin..look back and celebrate the good times you had and what you accomplished..that's an impressive thing..
