Has anyone seen these:
Drumstick control clips.
Supposed to help with holding the sticks and doing stick twirls.
I stumbled upon them on Amazon while looking at other percussion stuff.

Not familiar with them. I'm tempted to order the larger ones for those times when I'm doing marcing band gigs and afraid of dropping a stick. Price point isn't bad...might order a pair for kit and see what happens...I've had bad burgers for less.

I’ve seen something like this in the back pages of MD way back when. Never considered the need for them, but maybe now. For some reason my sticks tend to slide forward to where the butt ends up in my palm. This might help.

i'm thinking they would make you lazy, and loose your grip or feel after awhile?

I've always had a (very) loose grip. I think it actually helps with my feel, but the sticks sometimes slip and fall. Maybe I need a pair of these. :shaking2:

Due to a high school sports injury and the beginnings of arthritis in both hands, I’ve been using Gig Grips for a long time. They’ve been lifesavers for me.

I'm interested in the twirling aspect.
When I play live, it would be nice to do some visuals with the sticks, without them flying out of my hands.
On the other hand, it may look cheezy, twirling around a ring.

Maybe I should just learn how to do some traditional stick twirls properly.
Any good instructional videos on the web ???
