Hey all!

For my latest drum cover, I did "Son of a Preacher Man" by Dusty Springfield! I love this song's "slightly swung" feel and iconic ride bell pattern at the end. I was re-watching Pulp Fiction the other day, and felt compelled to play this haha.

Would love your thoughts and hope you enjoy :)

Hey guys!

I got some great constructive criticism that I was being too rigid and technical in my "Son of a Preacher Man" cover and not playing with a ton of feel. I took it to heart, and really tried playing with more feel this time, and trying to really get in the groove!

Here's my new take of "Son of a Preacher Man." Would love your thoughts

Yep. That new bass drum pattern helped a lot. Sounds much more laid back now.

Personally, I'd really lay back on the bass drum even more, playing just behind the beat.

But you are making great strides in your drum playing, my man. I'm enjoying it.
