Ludwig orange vistalite later 70's kit 12,13,16,22 and Slingerland chrome snare drum. Orange County CA - Westminister/Whittier areas. Motivated seller who just got this kit dumped on him and doesn't want to have it long.

I was talking with this seller on some cymbals he had. He mentioned that they all came from his Dad's kit. Seemed like a possible deal for someone in OC region. Kit also includes several Zildjians and Tama stands. Seller would like it all gone at once and willing to deal. I'm 3000 miles away so can't take a look at them. Didn't know the seller at all before yesterday. Drums seem to be decent except for a cracked seam on one of the mounted toms. The seller would prefer to sell it all at once....$1000-$1300 range? Opportunity?

Too Late.....already sold. A forum member took a peak and said they were clean. Went cheap too.

That's a good looking satin kit. Would make some a great kit I think.

There is also an amazing 8 piece set with cymbals and stands in bowling ball black. See post in newer craigslist thread as it is a later 2000s kit.

On Reverb.....this 40's Slingerland WMP kit seemed like a nice deal for someone at $1500. Snare had a new "vintage" Gibraltar throw off and the 14x12 rack tom was being used as a floor tom. The drums looked to be very nice overall. I've been keeping an eye out for a complete early Slingerland but I'd like it more original + a 16" floor tom.

Butcher block Londoner sold for 350 at auction yesterday. They were in great shape but did need the center swivomatic post which i see on reverb at another 100 to 150, and also some legs for the floor tom. Still a good deal for someone. The ludwig tom went for 270 and the newer ludwig set went for 1550 which was still a steal for that nice of a newer set with 8 drums and and cymbals etc. I was able to win a nice 5" 75 Dynasonic with alow serial number for 180. Cant wait to try it out, it looks to be in great shape.

That's a neat Hollywood kit. Seller is incorrect on dating the set however. '64 still used the first design Hollywood mount that uses the wood block separator. The design shown with this kit came along closer to '66. Also the upper badge placement on the floor tom is wrong for a '64. And it also has tom mounts and such that are indicative of post mid '65 or so. Probably a great set of tubs though.
