Soul Sacrifice by Santana.
Since we're allowed to fantasize also Rock & Roll by Led Zeppelin. The power and thrill of the opening fill and the power of giant amp stacks kicking in with the first crash would blow my head off.

Hell of a lot more but this one popped first - In Memory of Elizabeth Reed - ABB
I will second this one. I saw the thread, and I knew immediately it would be AB from Fillmore. I was running down the tracks on that, and this is as good as it gets. And you wouldn't be bound to play it exactly the same.

Have you ever heard this version by Aussie band Zoot from around 1970?

Nope never heard but it’s great! They are spot on, better than the Beatles version!!!

Other than pretty much anything Allman Brothers, I'd would love to sit in with the Mavericks on All You Ever Do Is Bring Me Down....

Grateful Dead - "Playing in the Band"
A 15-20 min summer/fall '72 single-drummer version.

This is a tough one, but immediately coming to mind is playing "Little Sister" with Elvis.

Almost anything by Count Basie during the late '60s to early '70s when Harold Jones was his drummer. Harold played with more taste and drive than any jazz drummer I've ever seen.

I dig this
