I am no a fan of red, but sparkle kits are pretty rad. I had to sell a mixed finish kit and wrapped it in orange sparkle automotive vinyl. Kinda wanted to keep it when I was done.

Found a picture of my once owned TAMA Starclassic BB in red sparkle. Boy was it stunning. Unlike my picture taking abilities. Darn!

I avoid the Christmas colors, but I’d take red sparkle over green sparkle. Better yet, though, burgundy sparkle — now that’s a nice finish.

Burgundy sparkle is at another level but only if it is really sparkling. I’ll take an aged red sparkle over burgundy. That’s just my opinion.

I far prefer red sparkle lacquer finish drums to red sparkle wrap drums .
I owned a Yamaha Recording Custom Kit in Apple sparkle fade lacquer finish that got a lot of nice comments when I owned it.

My first kit showed up on Christmas eve 1966, delivered during a snow storm. My parents present to me. Sears red sparkle MIJ 12, 14, 20 with matching 5x14 snare. They didn't come with cymbals so I ordered some from Sears too.
